First I wanted to say how great all the teams look this season. All the players have been learning so much and the coaches are working to give them a great season. As everyone could have probably expected our season has been effected by this virus.
All CYLA spring lacrosse activities will be suspended until early April to address concerns surrounding the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, CYLA announced on Thursday.
Effective Friday, March 13, the 2020 spring lacrosse season, including all practices and competition, are suspended through April 6.
The situation will be monitored and evaluated with league decision-makers from around the state to determine when, to resume the spring season.
This decision is based on input from a range of administrators and parents.
Further information about the spring sports season will be communicated via pikespeaklacrosse.com when it’s available.
Coaches will stay in contact with their teams. Please feel free to reach out with questions & concerns.
We have built a great lacrosse club and community and I thank you all for being part of the SharpShooters. When everyone is getting a little stir crazy don’t forget about those stick skills. See you soon when we continue the Spring 2020 Season
