PPL Post Season Tournaments
by posted 04/14/2021

SharpShooters,

I wanted to reach out to gauge interest in entering a few teams in some post  season tournaments. I think these tournaments are very fun, competitive, and a great team building experience.

Below is a link to a survey interest card for these post season tournaments that we can participate in. These tournaments will cost between $50-$150 per player depending on the number of players who want to play. If you are interested in your player participating in one or more post season tournaments please complete the survey ASAP. We will only play one of the days on these weekends.

Hopefully we can participate in as many tournaments as possible.

Great Week 2 Performance
by posted 04/13/2021

Dear PPL Parents,

I hope everyone enjoyed the games this weekend and the players had fun. I had a blast and am very proud of each and every player for how hard they work every time they step on the field. We will continue to focus on the fundamentals of the sport at practice. I’m sure we will be running into stiffer competition in the coming weeks.

After the games this weekend, I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone about the expectations of PPL and positive sportsmanship. I appreciate all of your efforts to attend and contribute to the team and want us to be proud of the organization we represent. After several pointed concerns over comments at the games, please know that our overall goal is to provide these players with the best experience possible. Though we all have our frustrations with referees, coaches, and parents at times, how we conduct ourselves in front of our players is top priority. It is an expectation that we show respect and integrity at all games attended. This expectation trumps any win or loss. Again, I appreciate all of your continued support. I have enjoyed coaching your players and look forward to finishing this season as a united PPL team.

Best regards,

Coach Chris

Team Update
by posted 04/07/2021

Hello,

Just want to reach out with game times and a few team updates. First I wanted to let everyone know the boys have been working hard at practice and have all had great attitudes. They have been a pleasure to coach.

Tomorrow our 5th & 8th grade teams are scrimmaging Vangaurd at 5pm & 6pm at Village Green. I will probably bring the teams over during practice  to watch for 10min to try and help them understand the game a little better.

All games this weekend are on Saturday the 10th at El Pomar Youth Sports Park.

1st Grade Team (U7)

12:45pm on Field B East

2nd Grade Team (U8)

11:30am Field B West

3rd Grade Team (U9)

9am Field B East

Please make sure the players wear all required equipment. As usual younger players are always welcome to play up on an older team.
