Some of you may be saying why so early?
We need to know what our numbers look like for each team. Once we have our numbers, we can better target our recruiting and team submission.
The boys, (CYLA) and the girls, (CGLA) rules have changed. Instead of playing on a team by grade, the players will now be playing by age. In most cases this will not effect our players. In addition, the concept of playing down will now be, for lack of a better term, illegal.
For more information on these new rules please go to either:

posted 12/03/2011 Dear Lacrosse Family,
Dj, Emme, Kris, Scott, and Opie
This past weekend the Lacrosse Community in Colorado Springs lost a dear friend and a very influential advocate for lacrosse. Scott Stanec and his family have been involved with Lacrosse for many years. Both Scott and his wife, Kris, were influential in creating the Sharpshooters club. They have coached, raised funds, advised and supported lacrosse at the youth, high school, and district levels.
Scott's wife Kris was one of the founders of the girl’s lacrosse program. His daughter Emme played on that original team and is an 8th grader this year. His son DJ played with the Tigers lacrosse club for many seasons and is now playing for Palmer High School. DJ also helped coach, and reffed at the Youth level this past year.
Scott was killed in a tragic hiking accident last Sunday in Switzerland. We grieve with their family and have joined with Palmer lacrosse to discuss potential ways to honor his memory, and continue his lacrosse legacy in the future.
Thank you Scott for your incredible influence on your own family, and so many of ours. You will be forever missed and fondly placed in our memories. Our love and support will be extended to your family to the best of our ability!!
With heavy hearts,
Kris Waterhouse
President - Pikes Peak Lacrosse Sharpshooters
